Nurture Investment Management is a financial services firm providing private credit, private equity and investment and corporate advisory services principally within the pan-African region. Our various group companies operate out of Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mauritius, and South Africa. Our activities are regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe.

Nurture is a proudly African-owned and managed investment management firm. Our team has more than 180 years of cumulative investment and advisory experience in Africa and consists of individuals that have worked at leading firms such as CBZ, DLA Piper, Econet, Ernst and Young, Goldman Sachs, KPMG, PWC, Spencer Stuart and IH Securities. The team consists of talented and experienced chartered accountants, chartered financial analysts, lawyers, economists and IT professionals, who collectively enable Nurture to provide innovative and effective solutions to its clients.

Our mission is to equalise access to financial services by utilising our intellectual and financial capital, and thus enabling our clients to achieve their purpose and dreams.

 
Nurture bridges global capital to talent and enterprise in emerging and frontier countries. We utilise technology and data to provide financial services to enterprises, pension funds, family offices and individuals based in, or originally from, a number of emerging and frontier countries. As of mid-2025, Nurture manages in excess of USD100m of assets on behalf of institutional and retail investors across the world.
 
Our work and the innovative strategies that guide our mandates are inspired by a simple lesson we learnt as kids: “Go play outside.” So we did. We got out there and explored the world, pushed the limits, cultivated our imagination and set our sights high. That is what you do when you grow up in a brand new country (as did our founders) where the old ways are not sacred and endless possibilities abound. Combine this with our collective exposure to global markets, our skills, our international experience, our use of data and technology and our access to a comprehensive network of expertise, and you have the strength of a multi-faceted, analytic, investment analysis approach driven by a young, dynamic team that understands local markets in a global setting.
